How long have I been working now at KLCC?
FYI, it's already a year and 2 mths.
But I never actually walk and stroll along the KLCC Park down there.
I really really wanted to do that actually, because I wanna take pictures of the twin tower at night. But never had a chance to do that tho.

So, since Salwa was around, we planned a gathering near the KLCC Park. Mas brought with her sate kajang!~

Aaaahh... I really miss this kinda gathering, like wut we used to do at brissy before.
So, I cannot missed this opportunity to snap this photos with the background of the twin tower!

And also, it was quite awhile, we have'nt had a chance to gather around like this anymore.

Lets do this more often, girls!!!~

Enjoying the piccas?

The truth is, i just came back from a business trip to Sudan last Tuesday.
Yes, S.U.D.A.N, sudan.
Where is Sudan anyway? It's in the Northern Africa, near Egypt and Ethiopia.
For what?
To select some local students there to continue their studies at our university here.

It was my FIRST time there, obviously. My first overseas work outstation. But actually, it was a pretty last minute instruction from big bos. Imagined that we only know that we are going there on Monday, whilst the flight was on Thursday. And also have to get 5 jap for vaccination, ouch! Thank God, I've got my passport all ready to use...

However, it was a great experience and and quite an exciting trip for us!

Ok, the pics above was taken while I was in Dubai for flight transit to Sudan. Was in Dubai for about 7 hours after 6 hours flight from KL. But, we have'nt got the time to go around the city though, since we arrived a bit early in the morning at the transit hotel, while the city only open at 10 am, and we have to rush back to the airport at 12 noon. However, me n my colleague managed to snaps some pics all around the hotel....huhuh... Dubai was really hot and dry. There are lots of Asian people working there, and i cant barely recognized who were the original people there... Quite confusing... What I can say is that, they all look rich and modern. A bit too westernized indeed.

Flight to Sudan from Dubai only took around 4 hrs, i was quite carried away with all meals they served onboard. Nice food and nice people from Emirates Air. But somehow, during the touch down, I felt a bit dizzy and almost feel like throwing out. I guessed it was the cheese cake. So I was'nt really look alright then, and the weather was really dry and flaming hot! I really dont dare to open up my mouth, coz i'm afraid that i'll vomit. The staff from Sudan office was there to pick us up, they help us go through the immigration faster than we should. First time experience in a 3rd world country, i felt so grateful to Allah with what we have in Malaysia. The life here in Sudan was so simple. Not hectic at all, they only live with what they have around.

And so we have to work on Friday and Saturday, since the event can only be done during their weekends just to get everyone to be involved in it. The event was so simple, as wut i said before. Nothing to compare with the ones that we always held in Tronoh. Well, at first I was quite frustrated with it. But sooner, I just realized that, that was how it was supposed to be. An event does not have to be that grand to be successful. Which means, as long as the event achieved the target (eg: select best students for sponsorship), then it was succesful enough. Its not the way you do it, but its more on the result that you get. Ok...I rest my case there. Probably the culture there is different. They are still developing, and still learning... But I really hope that everything will turn differently another 10 years. Erm, just my 2 cents.

Finally, everything turns out well and our job was done right on time!

So, departed from Sudan Airport on Sunday evening, had a transit at Bahrain. Thats the only time that we have to shop for some souvenirs for friends and family. And later at midnight, board the flight back to KL.

Reached KLIA AT about 12:30 noon Monday. And I am so glad to be back in KL and back to the modernisation nation!!!!!~

On top of this all, it was a great trip and I have no regrets on going there.
